Region area Västfastigheter construction and management has customer responsibility, is a representative for the property owner in matters concerning the region's property portfolio, and provides the region's operations with premises.

The Hospital Properties area SU consists of three units, Sahlgrenska, Östra, and Mölndal, and is responsible for the local supply for Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU). We carry out construction projects to take care of what already exists and when we need to build new. We coordinate overall needs and meet the healthcare operations at a consolidated and strategic level regarding local supply issues.

About the Job

You will be responsible for the technical management and development of electrical systems within the Östra property portfolio.

In this role, you will work with everything from long-term development and management to daily issues concerning the systems. You will work in the early stages with planning reinvestments and maintenance and initiate project start-ups. You will also work as a technical expert within your discipline for hospital properties at Östra Hospital with requirement specification and follow-up in customer, maintenance, and investment projects.

Within the organization, there are both local and regional technical groups in the area that work together on common development and requirement specification. You will contribute your experiences and receive support in decision-making when needed.

In your daily work, you will have significant collaboration with your colleagues in the unit and area, which consists of property managers, technical managers, and project leaders. In your role, you will have contact with both suppliers and the region's operations that utilize our premises. Collaboration with our operations organization is a natural and important part of the work. Assignments may be located on all hospital sites in Gothenburg and Mölndal. A driver's license (B) is required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a university engineer in the field or has other education combined with experience deemed equivalent. You should have broad experience working with electrical systems. You are proactive, have a systematic approach, and find it easy to organize your work and prioritize effectively. You have the ability to make quick decisions and act on them. You are stable and promote a trust-building atmosphere. As a person, you value working together with engaged colleagues, and you have a positive attitude towards sharing your knowledge and learning from each other.

The following are meritorious:

• Experience in the property and construction industry
• Knowledge of the construction process
• Experience with hospital premises
